Κηναία, instead of “Κηναίων”: cp. 818μητρῷον” (n.).

κρηπὶς, the substructure, basis, of the altar; Eur. H. F.984ἀμφὶ βωμίαν” | “ἔπτηξε κρηπῖδ̓”, ‘at the altarsteps.’ The word has a picturesque force here, as recalling the moment when the altars were founded by him (237).
