κρατὸς βλεφάρων θ̓: the phrase suggests a movement of the head at the moment when the sleeper opens his eyes: cp. Ph.866κινεῖ γὰρ ἁνὴρ <*> κἀνάγει κάρα”.—Wecklein, omitting <*> takes βλεφάρων ὕπνον as ‘sleep of the eyelids.’
