φοιτάδα, coming at intervals: “φοιτᾶν” was said in this sense of intermittent diseases: see n. on Ph.758ἥκει γὰρ αὕτη διὰ χρόνου, πλάνοις ἴσως” | “ὡς ἐξεπλήσθη”. Not merely “μανιώδη”, as the schol. explains it.
