κλῃζόμενοι is more than “καλούμενοι”: it implies invocation and praise: cp. 659.

ἐφορῶσι, i.e., look calmly down upon them; just as in El. 825ταῦτ᾽ ἐφορῶντες κρύπτουσιν ἕκηλοι”: cp. Aesch. Ag. 1270 (Cassandra complains of Apollo) “ἐποπτεύσας”... | ...“καταγελωμένην”.
