ἀλλ̓: cp. 1179 n. οὐδὲν εἴργει like “οὐδὲν κωλύει”. Cp. 344. τελειοῦσθαι: cp. O. C.1089“τελειῶσαι”: but El.1510“τελεωθέν”. Both forms were current in Attic prose. ἐπεὶ κελεύεις: he again disclaims responsibility: cp. 1247.
