κρύψομαι: midd., ‘keep my knowledge to myself’: but it is not practically different from “κρύψω” here. A midd. force is better marked in Ai.647φύει τ᾽ ἄδηλα καὶ φανέντα κρύπτεται” (hides in itself), and ib. 246 “κάρα...κρυψάμενον”. The only other examples of the simple midd. “κρύπτομαι” are late, though the midd. “ἀποκρύπτομαι” and “ἐπικρύπτομαι” were frequent.
