τροπαῖα, the arms taken from the enemy (cp. Ant.143 n.), “σκῦλα”: ἀκροθίνια, the booty, “λεία”.—This accent for the subst. “τροπαῖον” is attested by the grammarians, and preserved by L in 1102: though, acc. to rule, the subst. would be “τρόπαιον”, and the adj. “τροπαῖος” ( Ph.1459 n.).
