πιθοῦ μοι, “"comply with me,"” grant this wish, as El. 1207, Tr. 470 (n.): while “πείθου” is rather, “"be persuaded,"” as El. 1015, and above, 520.—

κεἰ where “εἰ καί” would be normal: cp. 661.
