ἔλυσε, as Tr. 924λύει τὸν αὑτῆς πέπλον”: while the midd. in Il. 17.318λύοντο δὲ τεύχεα” refers to Greeks stripping Trojans.

δυσπινεῖς: cp. 1258. He prepares to put on the garb of the dead.
