εἴργου, said as the Chorus approach him threateningly: cp. O. T. 890 “τῶν ἀσέπτων ἔρξεται” (n.). μωμένου, meditating, designing: a part. used once in dialogue by Soph. ( Tr. 1136 “ἥμαρτε χρηστὰ μωμένη”), and twice in lyrics by Aesch. (Ch. 45, 441).
