ὅρων. ἐμβαίνω usu. takes either dat., or prep. with gen. or accus.: the simple gen. could be explained as partitive, but prob. is rather on the analogy of the gen. with ἐπιβαίνω: cp. O. T. 825 “ἐμβατεύειν πατρίδος”. The gen. with “ἐπεμβαίνω” (924) is warranted by the first preposition.
