ὅπως μολούμεθ᾽: “"how we are to return to Thebes, I know not"”:—for Oedipus had predicted that both her brothers would soon fall in the war (1373), and Creon, the next heir to the throne, was no friend. This continues the thought ποῖ φύγω; (1737). The interposed words of the Chorus did not touch her difficulty.
