τὰ δὲ ι κέρδη: cp. 265. Doederlein understands, “τὰ δὲ κέρδη μᾶλλον ἀγαθά ἐστιν ἢ καλή ἐστιν ἡ μορφή”. Schneidewin and Wecklein adopt this forced explanation, which is condemned both by “παρ᾽ αὐτοῦ” and by the absence of the art. with “μορφή”.
