πότερα, instead of “πότερον”, to avoid an anapaest: Ai. 265 n.

πόθοισι; (causal:) was it because thou wast fain to see me after so long a time? (or was there some further special cause?) Cp. Ai. 531φόβοισί γ᾽ αὐτὸν ἐξελυσάμην.

λόγων αὐτάγγ. object.gen., “αὐτὴλόγουσἀγγέλλουσα”. Aesch. Ag. 646πραγμάτων εὐάγγελον.λόγοις would be a dat. of circumstance ("with"), but very harsh.
