ὥστε introduces the condition: Thuc. 1.28ἑτοῖμοι δὲ εἷναι καὶ ὥστε ἀμφοτέρους μένειν κατὰ χώραν”, the Corcyreans said that they were also ready (to make an armistice) under the condition that each party should remain where they were.
