εἰἔχοι is an abstract statement of the condition: — "Supposing him to have tendance, she is content." For optat. in protasis, with pres. ind. in apodosis, cp.

εἰ γὰρ ἀφέλοι τις τοῦ βίου τὰς ἡδονάς,
καταλείπετ᾽ οὐδὲν ἕτερον τεθνηκέναι

Antiphanes fr. incert. 51 (Bothe p. 412)
, "supposing one takes away...then nothing is left."
