χῶρονἐξηγήσομαι, show the way to the place: the literal notion being blended with that of expounding (as the “ἐξηγηταί” expounded the sacred law). Cp. Her. 3.4ἐξηγέεται...τὴν ἔλασιν”, expounds the route for the march.

ἄθικτος, pass., as always in Attic (though O. T. 969ἄψαυστος ἔγχους”=“"not touching"”): Tr. 685ἀκτῖνός τ᾽ ἀεὶ θερμῆς ἄθικτον”. The act. sense, “"not touching,"” occurs later (Callim. Hymn. Dian. 201).
