Ζεύς γ᾽ ἂνσὺ δ᾽ οὔ. The lacuna certainly preceded these words. The words in the strophe answering to “τά γ᾽ οὐ τελεῖ” and to the lacuna are 838 f.ΧΟ. μέθες χεροῖν τὴν παῖδα θᾶσσον”. It is probable, then, that the lost words here belonged to the Chorus, being such as “Ζεύς μοι ξυνίστω”.
