[368] ἐξενάριζεν, so Ar., ‘continued the despoiling’ of P., which task Hector had interrupted, 342; Zen. “ἐξενάριξεν”, but the aor. is obviously less suitable; his continued attention to the corpse explains how Paris got his opportunity. So αἴνυτο 374, ‘was in the act of stripping off.’
