[395] θυμὸν ὄρινε, stirred her anger, as elsewhere. Ar. explained “παρώρμησε”, excited her to love, holding that the following passage (see next note) was interpolated from a misunderstanding of the words. But there is clearly no reason for departing from the usual sense of the phrase.
