[461] αὖε, also 13.477, 20.48, 51 (cf. “αὐδή”); elsewhere the stem is “ἀυ_-” (“ἤυ_σε, ἀυ_τή, ἀύτει”, etc.). Bentley's “ἀνεχάζετ᾽, ἄυσε” is of course condemned by the forbidden caesura.
