[335] For a participle belonging to the leading clause of a sentence, after a virtual parenthesis, we may perhaps compare 11.153, where “χαλκῶι δηϊόωντες” seems to belong to “ἱππεῖς δ᾽ ἱππῆας” in 151. But the construction is very awkward.
