[677] This is the only hint to indicate that the gods are on Ida rather than Olympos (see on 431). It may well have been added after the introduction of the “Διὸς ἀπάτη”, though even thus the presence of Apollo on Ida is not less unexpected than that of Hera before. Zen. expunged the line.
