[180] “δενδίλλων, διανεύων τοῖς ὀφθαλμοῖς” Sch. A; a word recurring only in Ap. Rhod. and (acc. to the schol.) in The Soph. line is probably part of the Phoinix interpolation, as ἕκαστον (note the “ϝ” neglected) strictly implies at least three. But metrical necessity may excuse the use of it for “ἑκάτερον”.
