[400] χάλκευον, a violation of ‘Wernicke's law.’ It is also one of the few exceptions to the rule against the molossus in this place. See App. N, § 17. Nauck “χαλκεύων δαίδαλα μίμνον”, which does not meet the second objection. εἰνάετες, for a nine years' cycle, see note on 351.
