[735] ε:μμεμαῶτε, see on N 785, and cf. 746, where the words are much better in place. Here they would naturally be taken to refer to the two Aiantes. The conjunction of dual and plur. is particularly harsh; but “τώ” is quoted only from Heyne's unknown ‘ Vat.’
