[148] As the text stands ἔαρος δ᾽ is added paratactically, when the season of spring succeeds. But Aph.'s reading “ὥρηι” is at least equally good, and they succeed one another in the season of spring, cf. 2.468ὅσσά τε φύλλα καὶ ἄνθεα γίνεται ὥρηι”.
