[740] “σύνελεν, συνέχεε καὶ εἰς ἓν συνήγαγεν” Schol. T. But the use is a curious one. The compound recurs in H. only in Od. 20.95 “χλαῖναν μὲν συνελών”, gathering up, and there seems to be no parallel use in later Greek. ἔσχεν intrans., as “ἔσχεθε” 340.
