[734] ἑανόν, pliant, as elsewhere when it is used as an adj. with “α_”: it is not to be confused with the substantive “ϝε”(“ς”)“α^νός” (3.385, etc.) garment, and should perhaps be written “ἐανός”, as it may be derived from “ἐάω”, in the sense of ‘yielding.’ (See Buttmann Lexil. s.v.)
