[394] βασιλῆες. ‘However, kings there are doubtless many besides me.’ Thus Antinous is called “βασιλεύς Od.24. 179; Antinous and Eurymachus “βασιλῆες Od.18. 64; similarly Alcinous was called “βασιλεύς”, but there were twelve other Phaeacian “βασιλῆες Od.7. 55-65; 8. 391.
