[366] Cobet would omit this line, so that τοῖς ἔξειμι may be taken closely with πόδες in l. 365. But τοῖς has a ‘comitative’ sense, which will apply to eyes and ears as well as feet: cp. Il.18. 506τοῖσιν ἤϊσσον” ‘with these (sceptres) they started up.’
