[161] οἵδε, ‘thy people here, waiting for a bidding from thee, are putting constraint on themselves.’

ἰσχανόωνται, from a lengthened form of “ἴσχω”, with frequentative force; cp. “ἐρυκανόωσι”. The only forms found are “ἰσχανάᾳς, -άᾳ, -όωσιν, -όων, -όωσαν”, and in the middle “ἰσχανόωνται, -όωντο, -αάσθω”, and the iterative “ἰσχανάασκον”.
