[363] μοισέο, gen. as 20. 209 “ μοι ἔπειτ᾽ Ὀδυσῆος”. For the phrase μοι ἐγὼ ἀμήχανος cp. 5. 299 “ μοι ἐγὼ δειλός”, also Il.18. 54. Il., 24. 255.Elsewhere in Homer “ἀμήχανος” means ‘not to be managed,’ ‘with whom no contrivance avails’; but here it must be =‘helpless.’
