[435] ὑποδῦσα. There is no need to read with Düntzer here, “ἀναδῦσα” (cp. Il.1. 496), for “ὑποδῦσα” only resumes the words “ὑπὸ πόντον ἐδύσετο” sup. 425, as indeed the use of ἄῤ here suggests. ‘Meanwhile she having plunged [as I said] into the sea's broad breast, brought up,’ etc.
