[42] τόν ‘that’ chamber, viz. the one described in l. 8. But this use of the article is hardly defensible. The reading ὅν is attractive, but has little MS. support. The omission of τόν in two good MSS. suggests the conjecture “θάλαμόνδε ἀφίκετο” (so Nauck).
