[160] οἷός τεκήδεσθαι. This use of “οἷος” with the infinitive is still rare in Homer: cp. 5. 484., 21. 117, 173. It is not found in the Iliad. For the corresponding use of “ὥς τε” see on 17. 20, also Il.9. 42: H. G. § 235, § 271, 3.
