heroum et sese mortali ostendere coetu
caelicolae, nondum spreta pietate, solebant . .
sed postquam . .
quare nec tales dignantur visere coetus,
nec se contingi patiuntur lumine claro.’
πάρος is used with present tense, as in Od.4. 811, etc.
