[384] ἠδ᾽ ἄρ᾽ ἑτοῖμα τέτυκτο, ‘and lo! thy words are fulfilled.’ “ἑτοῖμος” is from the same root as “ἐτεός” and “εἶναι”. Cp. Il.14. 53 δὴ ταῦτά γ᾽ ἑτοῖμα τετεύχαται”. With the tense “τέτυκτο” compare “ἔπλετο Od.1. 225, and inf. 571.
