[104] The words ἐκ νεφέων destroy the significance of the thunder as an omen—the point being that it came from a clear sky (l. 113 “ἀστερόεντος, οὐδέ ποθι νέφος ἐστί”). Probably therefore the line is spurious: the latter part of it anticipates 120-121.
