[368] δάσονται. Notice the change of construction. The force of “ὥς κε” is not carried through the sentence, but an indicative future is introduced in the second clause, stating what the definite result of the success of the suitors will be. Cp. Od.5. 415μή πώς με . . κῦμα βάλῃ . . μελέη δέ μοι ἔσσεται ὁρμή”.
