[592] ἑκάστῳ, apparently neut.: ‘to each thing the gods have assigned a share for mortals,’ i.e. sleep, like other things, has its place among men. See on 20. 171 “οὐδ᾽ αἰδοῦς μοῖραν ἔχουσιν”, also “ἐλπίδος αἶσα” (19. 84).
