[19] “ὣς οἱ μὲν κτλ.” These words come in strangely after the preceding lines. The reference of κεῖνον is not sufficiently clear. And the words imply that there has been a “ὁμιλία”—a conversation or ‘consorting together’—in which Achilles was the principal figure.
